Air Banners for protest
Ted Whitaker, co-organiser of the Aramoana surfers paddle out, pauses for the camera before jumping into the ocean. The New Zealand Surf Break protection society voiced their concerns in a friendly manor over the weekend with 100 surfers paddling out to form a ring of surfers and display an Air Banner saying “SAVE ARAMOANA”. The local Dunedin council are dredging the harbour and considering releasing the spoil into the ocean bed, very close to the world class surf breaks. This could have long term effects.

QR codes are go for Air Banners
We’ve just received our new Air Banners QR code and you’ll start to see it in various locations.
So what is a QR code? A QR (Quick Response) Code is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on white background.

Air Banners fly for the Rugby World Cup Road Show
The Rugby World Cup Road Show is taking on NZs nation. Displaying the Webb Ellis Cup and taking bookings for the up and coming tournament. Tamati and the TV1 breakfast show had some great highlights. Ashburton is hosting the Romanian Rugby team, so we’re supporting the yellow/red/blue team- GO ROMANIA! (and the NZ All Blacks sports team of course).
